In-Lab Analysis for Drilling Mud

Texas OilTech Laboratories, in partnership with our technical associates, provides comprehensive drilling mud analysis to support safe, stable, and effifient wellsite operations. By evaluating drilling fluids both in the field and laboratory (per API 13B), we help prevent gas loss, reduce blowout risks, and ensure proper wellbore stability.

Services include: mud density, viscosity and gel strength, sand content, API filtration, pH, hardness, resistivity, cation exchange capacity, chloride content, crude oil contamination, full chemical analysis, drill pipe corrosion, and alkalinity/lime content, along with advanced rheology testing using Fann HPHT. These analyses ensure drilling mud is neither too thick to hinder operations nor too thin to provide stability, delivering the consistency required for productive exploration and drilling.
