Solid Deposition Studies
Texas OilTech Laboratories applies advanced technolgies for specialized flow assure investigations. These studies provide a full understanding of fluid composition and detailed property measurements under reservoir conditions.​
Our work is powered by a high-pressure PVT cell integrated into the Flow Assurance System (FLASS) Analyzer, equipped with a laser transmittance device and Solid Detection System (SDS).
Together, these tools allow us to study the behavior or solid particles with exceptional accuracy.

The SDS, based on near-infrared light scattering, detects the onset of solids such as asphaltenes or wax at particle sizes as small as 200 m.

The High-Pressure Microscope (HPM) measures particle size distribution (down to 1μm) while simultaneously providing visual confirmation.
